Irritating characters, poor story

This anime has beautiful animation and amazing voice actors, but the main characters, the story, and the dialogue are atrocious. Despite being a serious anime, I could not take it seriously. The main character of the story repeats the same phrase, "I'm going to save everyone" at least 20+ times in the span of 12 episodes. The ending has a cool, but confusing and cheap twist. (Minor Spoilers:) The characters are flawed, but do not learn from their mistakes, and if they do, it takes too long. A minor villian is annoyingly stubborn, and betrays the main characters despite being proven wrong already. For parents: This anime contains violence, death, lots of blood, and dark themes. There is some usage of curse words such as "b*stard". There is a single scene which contains minimal softcore nudity (bath scene), and another 3 second scene (fully clothed) with the phrase "lets have some fun with her" (implying r*pe, although she fights back and no r*pe actually occurs.) Some characters imply that they are attracted to each other. Other Notes: vote for Police Chief 2020

Is It Any Good?

This entertaining series is a compelling story about a group of teens caught up in circumstances that force them to help save the world. Daisuke is a fledgling hero who is growing into himself as he learns how to fulfill Milo's prophecy. His friends aren't perfect, but, as is the case in many teen stories, they appear more equipped to handle what's happening than the adults around them. This reflects the show's overall message, which calls for stopping the enemies of the future in order to save the present. Despite some gory moments, these details make Revisions' action-packed tale appealing.
