Grab these Kyu-te acrylic charms before March 24
Fans of HuniePop 2: Double Date who have been looking for a way to show their love for the game in a physical format can now do so. On March 9, the official Twitter account for HuniePop, HunieCam, and HuniePop 2’s developer, HuniePot, announced an officially licensed limited run of adorable acrylic charms designed by the games’ artist, Ninamo. There are 16 characters spread across two different sets, all of which are available for preorder until March 24, 2021.
“For all of my merch maniacs and collectable connoisseurs, HuniePop CG artist @Ninamo_lcr is doing an official LIMITED run of these absolutely CUTE HP2 charms: https://huniepop.bigcartel.com. Preorders open until March 24th! Son!”
Currently, the acrylic charms are the only thing on offer as far as HuniePop 2: Double Date merch goes, but it’s no denying they are absolutely adorable and in-line with the game’s art and style. The base version of Set A features seven characters — Regular Kyu, Abia, Ashley, Brooke, Candace, Lola, and Sarah. The base version of Set B also features seven characters — HunieCam Kyu, Jessie, Lailani, Lillian, Nora, Polly, and Zoey. Buying an individual charm — one girl — from either base set costs $10 USD.
The upgraded version of Set A includes the full set of characters from the base version plus a secret character, which, judging by the silhouette, is the pink Nymphojinn Moxie; the upgraded version of Set B is the same with the addition of another secret character, which appears to be the blue Nymphojinn, Jewn. Both versions are priced at $70 USD and include all girls in the specified set.
According to the site, the charms are a clear acrylic printed on both sides with a holographic coating on the front. They’re about 2.5 inches (6 cm) and come with a rose gold heart-shaped clasp. Preorders will close on March 24; orders are expected to ship out during the months of April and May.
