How to Calculate Paper Margin

Margin Calculation Formula
The printer uses the top-left corner of the paper as the point of origin to scale printing. The simple formula below calculates margins using this point of origin.(width of the paper) – (width of the label) = right margin (length of the paper) – (length of the label) = bottom margin
| NOTE Because the label is always printed to the top-left corner of the paper, only the bottom and right margin values are needed. |

A5 Size Paper Margins

A5 Example
For a ZSB-LC4/ZSB-LC104 shipping/mailing label (5.715 x 10.16 cm / 2.25 x 4 inches), set the right margin to 9.14 cm (3.60 inches) and the bottom margin to 10.85 cm (4.27 inches). The left and top margins are set to 0 cm.

For a ZSB-LC1/ZSB-LC101 XL shipping label (10.16 x 15.24 cm / 4.0 x 6.0 inches), set the right margin to 10.85 cm (4.27 inches) and the bottom margin to 14.45 cm (5.69 inches). The left and top margins are set to 0 cm.
